About Lancaster Building Services
Ryan Lancaster began Lancaster Building Services to leverage his unique and comprehensive understanding of HVAC, Automation, and Energy Efficiency to provide building owners and operators a solution to inefficient buildings through operational improvements rather than Capital Expense upgrades.
Ryan received his Mechanical Engineering degree from Rutgers University. He started out as a design engineer for mechanical HVAC system, then proceeded through the building automation space, energy consulting, performance contracting, then back to automation. This unique experience gives him a diverse blend of what’s possible in terms of building efficiency as well as the knowledge and ability to implement the many steps available toward efficiency improvement.
Building Performance Agreements
Our primary objective is to leverage existing Building Automation Systems (BAS) and components to monitor, analyze, and drive improvements to overall building performance by optimizing HVAC and building system operation through fixed-price annual agreements.
Building performance will be monitored and reported using power consumption data obtained through sub meters tied into the BAS, providing clients a clear gauge to measure success.
Building Automation & Controls
In addition to building performance optimization, Lancaster Building Services will engage in traditional controls subcontracting work for mechanical contracting firms as well as directly with building owners and property managers.
We support new design and installation as well as retrofits of building automation systems and automated temperature controls. We provide fixed price scope-based contracts (both plan and spec and design/build).
Lancaster Building Services will support their clients directly through client-request based service calls or routine preventative maintenance agreements to deal with BAS equipment failures, troubleshoot HVAC performance issues, and improve overall system operation upon request.
